The National Curriculum defines clear age related expectations which each curriculum year group work towards to ensure children make steady progress throughout their time at St John's. When teachers report to parents about a child's achievements they will refer to these expectations to support whether a child is at the age related standard, working towards it or displaying the expectations at greater depth.
